Hoffmann Collection
Hoffmann, a Vienna-trained architect and designer, sought to reproduce and promote craftsmanship in the everyday objects he designed. He avoided redundant decoration, which in his opinion obscured the functions of each object.
Hoffmann was true to the concept of the 'total work of art': that is, I take and design everything without leaving anything out. He had a special predilection for filling everything with little squares, thus earning him the nickname Quadratl-Hoffmann(Square Hoffmann)
We deliberately created these pieces without using metallic items, with straight geometries and without further ornamentation.
In honour of Josef Hoffmann, a man who loved applied arts.
