Oobuka es un estudio-taller de marroquinería artesanal en el barrio de El Carmen, Valencia. Diseñamos y fabricamos a mano bolsos, mochilas y pequeños accesorios de piel, en series cortas, sin producción industrial ni colecciones por temporada.

¿Puedo visitar el taller?

Sí, estamos abiertos al público en horario comercial. Si quieres ver el proceso de producción en detalle o tienes algo concreto en mente, escríbenos antes y te atendemos con más tiempo.

¿Los productos son realmente hechos a mano?

Sí, cada pieza se diseña y fabrica a mano en nuestro propio taller de Valencia. No subcontratamos producción ni fabricamos en serie.

¿Qué tipo de piel utilizáis?

Trabajamos principalmente con piel de vaca de curtido vegetal, tratada de forma natural. En algunos modelos combinamos con lona canvas resistente al agua.

¿Cómo cuido mis productos de piel?

La piel natural mejora con el uso y el tiempo. Evita la exposición prolongada al agua y al sol directo. Para limpiarla, usa un paño seco o ligeramente húmedo. Con el uso, desarrollará una pátina única.

¿Tenéis stock disponible o todo es bajo pedido?

Tenemos un número limitado de piezas en stock de algunos modelos, listas para enviar. El resto se fabrica bajo pedido — al ser piezas hechas a mano, la producción lleva su tiempo y no siempre está disponible al día siguiente.

¿Hacéis piezas personalizadas?

Sí, hacemos creaciones a medida. Escríbenos contándonos tu idea y lo valoramos juntos.

¿Cuánto tarda en fabricarse mi pedido?

Para productos bajo pedido, calcula entre 1 y 3 semanas de producción. Si el producto está en stock, el envío se hace normalmente en 2-4 días laborables.

¿Hacéis envíos internacionales?

Sí. Envío gratuito a toda España. A Europa, tarifa plana de 20€. Al resto del mundo, tarifa plana de 35€.

¿Puedo devolver o cambiar un producto?

Al ser piezas artesanales hechas a mano, es normal que existan pequeñas variaciones de tono, textura o veta respecto a las fotos — no se trata de un defecto, sino del carácter único de cada pieza. Aceptamos devoluciones o cambios de artículos en stock, en buen estado y sin usar, dentro de los 15 días posteriores a la fecha de entrega. Las piezas personalizadas no admiten devolución, salvo defecto de fabricación. Escríbenos a support@oobuka.com con el asunto 'Solicitud de devolución'.

Organizamos talleres de marroquinería y tejido en nuestro estudio de El Carmen. Son una buena forma de acercarte al oficio y aprender técnicas básicas de trabajo con piel.

Oobuka is a handmade leather goods studio-shop located in the El Carmen neighborhood of Valencia, Spain. We design and craft bags, backpacks, and small leather accessories by hand, in small batches — no industrial production, no seasonal collections.

Can I visit the workshop?

Yes, we're open to the public during business hours. If you'd like to see the production process in detail or have something specific in mind, message us ahead of time so we can give you proper attention.

Are your products really handmade?

Yes, every piece is designed and crafted by hand in our own workshop in Valencia. We don't outsource production or mass-manufacture.

What kind of leather do you use?

We mainly work with vegetable-tanned cowhide, naturally treated. Some models combine leather with water-resistant canvas.

How do I care for my leather products?

Natural leather improves with use and time. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight. Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Over time, it will develop a unique patina.

Do you keep stock, or is everything made to order?

We keep a limited stock of some models, ready to ship. Everything else is made to order — since each piece is handmade, production takes time and isn't always available the next day.

Do you make custom pieces?

Yes, we create custom leather pieces. Tell us your idea and we'll work it out together.

How long does production take?

For made-to-order items, allow 1 to 3 weeks for production. In-stock items typically ship within 2-4 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Free shipping within Spain. Europe: flat rate of €20. Rest of the world: flat rate of €35.

Can I return or exchange a product?

As handcrafted pieces, small variations in tone, texture, or grain compared to the photos are normal — this isn't a defect, but part of what makes each piece unique. We accept returns or exchanges for in-stock items in good, unused condition within 15 days of delivery. Custom or made-to-order pieces are not eligible for return except in case of manufacturing defect. Email support@oobuka.com with subject 'Return Request'.

What workshops do you offer?

We host leatherworking and weaving workshops at our studio in El Carmen — a great way to get closer to the craft and learn basic leatherworking techniques.

Every time we go on a trip we take less photos, just enough, and I use more and more the pencil, I write notes about the place, the details, I make a little drawing, I store the tickets, little treasures that in the future, every time I open my notebook, it will take me back to that place, that is a travel notebook, the phones can not cover everything, so we created this pack for explorers, passengers, writers and anyone who wants to remember without looking at their cell phone.

The size is standard A5, if you want , you can change your notebook and use our cover for another one.

This cover can only be used with one notebook.

We have also engraved a japanese pattern on the flap called SEIGAIHA, which represents the waves of the blue sea, the movement.

Every piece is designed and made in our Valencia studio, using vegetable-tanned leather we select by hand. A material built to last and, with time, to tell its own story — making each object truly one of a kind.

All our designs start from function. We think each piece through real use, and build it by hand from raw material to finished object.

Our studio-shop is open to the public. You're welcome to visit, see how we work, and talk about contemporary craft, design, and material.
